Antigoni Gkrizi

Antigoni is from Greece but now lives in Nottingham. She has been a part of several dance schools and dance groups in the past in Greece, totalling 14 years of amateur and 3 years of professional dancing, including teaching. Her teaching groups have included a wide variety of ages, from 5 to 60 years old. She studied in 2014 modern dance, obtaining the ISTD certificate(vocational level). Her main professional styles are Reggeaton, Hip Hop and Zumba, the last two with associated diplomas (IDTA and zumba basic B1).  As far as Reggeaton is concerned, she was attending for 4 consecutive years intensive group lessons with a Greek famous Salsa and Reggeaton teacher and she took part with this team in lots of Salsa festivals and other popular dance events in Greece, giving a number of different Reggeaton shows. With a lot of awards in her background, she has participated in a number of Hip Hop competitions in Athens, with the most important one being the acquisition of the 3rd place at Hellenic Dancesport Open in 2016 with her own crew of  Zumba students. She has graduated from the department of Psychology in the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and a master graduate of Dance Movement Psychotherapy course at the University of Derby. Also, she is a member of Beatbots hip hop crew which is based in Nottingham.
